Why become a Christian?
PRP
When I researched this subject on the Internet, I was astonished with the results that Google produced. Most Christian websites will tell you that you should become a Christian because otherwise, you are going to hell.
That is simply not true and frankly, I am amazed at the immaturity of those people who try to convince you with fear.
Firstly, many people are in heaven and they were never Christians (Romans Chapter 2 verses 14 and 15 and Romans 9 verse 15). It is true that we are saved by the “Name of Jesus” (Acts 4:12 “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”), but it does not mean you need to know Him to be saved. That key verse in Acts simply states the power and means for humans to receive Eternal Life. Jesus of Nazareth accomplished the necessary work to allow humans to have a place in the Father’s House. In essence, all those who have Eternal Life do so because of the work of Jesus, the Son of God and no other.
And then, you have those other “religious” people who call themselves Atheists. (Yes, Atheism is a faith based system, thus a religion). They always, boringly argue that Christianity is wrong or false or God is dead and unmistakeably use the faults of historical Christendom (religion) to support their view. Well, that makes little sense. It is not because a Priest or abusive preachers or faulty Christians have done horrendous things that your throw away the baby with the bath water. We need to look at the source.
The source is simple. The Bible! There is no other book that even comes close to the facts written in the Bible that touches us so deeply. The influence that the Bible had in hundreds of millions of lives throughout history is a demonstration that God must be behind it all, thus, the “inspiration” of the writers. Indeed, they spoke under the influence of the Holy Spirit. To all those who state that the Scriptures have been modified through history or that the Bible contradicts itself are following a path of fallacy. Some, for example, will say to you that the Gospels are inconsistent. They are not. Each Gospel presents a side of Christ that is unique, just like each side of a house is distict. We have many proofs that the original texts remain what we have in our printed Bibles today. For all of us in this current age, the New Testament (27 books) is crucial. That is the only reliable source we have. You see, many think that there are other proofs about what is revealed in the New Testament but in fact, there is none other than the New Testament itself. That is the only reliable source we have, but what a source! In these books, we are face to face with God and his love through Salvation.
So why become a Christian?
1) To allow you to love your God who became human in order to understand you better than your own very best friend;
2) To permit you to have pleasure deep inside your soul about the security of your eternal future;
3) To give you an intimate relationship with God the Father (in fact he becomes your Divine Daddy);
4) To permit God the Spirit to overshadow you with his conviction and power;
5) To give you a sense (reason) for living;
6) To bestow upon you the inestimable joy of knowing that Christ the Lord has made you acceptable to God by purging all your wrong doings (known and unknown);
7) To embrace you with the glory far far beyond all the Michael Jacksons and the Beibers ephemeral glories. You shall receive eternal glory and partake in the Divine Nature forever.
We could go on and on and on... but everything is here. Read about the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Get yourself a New Testament (ask us and we will send you one free and no strings attached), if only for the intellectual reason of “knowing”. Your life will be changed forever. Why would you refuse to read these things? What are you afraid of? Information? Get it! You will be enriched by this knowledge beyond measure. Eternal Life is promised to those who seek. Searching for the truth may require courage but in the end, you can only be profoundly blessed by “finding”.

Stephen Hawking is wrong...
... logical incoherance...
PRP
Stephen Hawking, the renowned physicist, has recently declared the following:
“Philosophy is dead”. “Most of us don't worry about these questions most of the time. But almost all of us must sometimes wonder: Why are we here? Where do we come from? Traditionally, these are questions for philosophy, but philosophy is dead... Philosophers have not kept up with modern developments in science. Particularly physics.”
Hawking continues and claims that “Scientists have become the bearers of the torch of discovery in our quest for knowledge.” In his book “The Grand Design”, Professor Hawking seems more angry at God in this latest work than in any of his previous works… and I read them all… many times. We share the same passion for Astrophysics and Quantum Mechanics. In fact I read some of his works 12 times in English and 4 times in French... But in this recent book (The Grand Design) a surprising amount of pages are devoted into denying the existence of God with such fury and one can almost feel a hatred for God in those lines. Hawking also declares as a guest speaker of Google :
“There is no heaven or afterlife for broken down computers; that is a fairy story for people afraid of the dark” ...
and compares this allegory with the fact that humans have no hope either.
His own “belief system” requires far more “faith” than believing in a God Creator. After all, it does require a tremendous amount of faith to believe Georges Lemaître’s “hypothesis of the primeval atom”, eventually called the “Bing Bang Theory”. Effectively, “nothing” has created “everything”. This notion contradicts everything humans through time and space have encountered in principle and in reality. We simply all know that such a suggestion is folly. It is impossible that "nothing" produces "anything", so much less "everything". And many Scientists question the weird Hawking science. Hawking’s lack of logic is demonstrated in the belief of what I call “Alice’s theories” (as in Alice in Wonderland). He believes that there are many different universes out there and I am in those many universes simultaneously doing other things than typing this article at the time I wrote it. You are not reading these lines at this moment but are doing something else somewhere “out there”... What??? Say again!!!
His basis for this theory does require a lot of “faith" in strange and contradictory philosophies. This new "Faith System" is based on the theory that atomic particles have the ability to simultaneously exist in more than one place at a time. Of course, none of this is proven or even close to be proven but he suggests these amusing opinions as “facts”. Indeed, the ultimate truth is not that God the Creator visited us through Christ Jesus in order to give us Life Eternal and that we have one single life to live... but that we are in many places at the same time… and most probably we are not where we think we are in our very day to day existence... in essence, as I write these lines, one of my little mini me is actually the King of Clamazone, the greatest empire on Planet Zoo-zoo… or I am the President of the United States of Planticima eating McGoobles at an election photo opp, or sadly again, I am a poor simple Busker trying to throw things in the air expecting coins to fill my hat positioned on the ground so I can have dinner tonight. That is Stephen Hawking’s belief and his disciples, the Grand Priests in white lab coats who calls themselves the "all knowing Cosmologists”. There are no other truth… just Hawking’s truth and his Associates in those white lab mantles. The new gods of mankind, promoting their ultimate calling to what they call: Quantum Jumping. That is going from one universe to the other and capturing one’s creativity and knowledge in those other “yous” (alternate versions of yourself via “thought transference”). This new religion suggest that you don’t really exist in any one of these worlds, not even in this one…
“that our physical reality is nothing but a very elaborate mirage. A super-hologram of information and energy.”
Why do I suddenly think of Keanu Reeves in the movie Matrix or the philosophical and religious ideas such as Cartesianism?
So according to Stephen Hawking, you think you are presently reading these lines… but you are living an illusion. Ok… Well, call us idiots, but we still prefer the “elegant theory” as presented in The Bible. I much prefer the logic of the love of a Creator to thinking of myself as the Leader of Planet Zoo-zoo.

(28) Where are you going?
PRP
Recently, I moved to another city. I have to admit that I love my new life with my wife and daughter in this new community… but I equally have to confess that I often get lost and I often have a feeling of utter frustration. Where am I? Where do I turn? Where do I go? (Yes, I should download a GPS app, asap). Regardless, the feeling of not knowing where you are and where to go is most insecure. Sometimes, I even decide to follow my instinct… but end up somewhere I never imagined. A pure waste of time! Why don’t I ask for directions?
That is not very effective. I need to download that app.
This sense of being lost made me realize that for many people, it is similar if you don’t have a clear view of your road ahead. In other words, if you don’t have the knowledge of Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, you must be utterly lost (intellectually and spiritually). You may follow your earthly instinct but you remain without hope, without vision and without a compass. If you feel frustrated in life or even uncomfortable in your soul, you need the heavenly app and that one is not offered by Apple, Blackberry Google Android or the Windows 7 smart phone platform. It comes from above and it is called “The Bible”. Wi-Fi is irrelevant.
Talk about a spiritual mid life crisis. If you do not have this heavenly app, don’t you feel confused and wonder why you are where you are? Deep down, you know quite well that you are not where you would like to be. Frightening, isn’t? Also, please do not say to yourself that you don’t need direction from “without”… that you are on the right road. One can be convinced that they are on the right entrance to a highway when in fact they have just taken by error an exit from a highway. You may be convinced that you are right… that you are in the right direction… but it won’t take long until you will be face to face with an oncoming vehicle driving at 100 km (60 miles) an hour.
Your life was given to you. You never asked to be born. You just were. But now that you do have human life, don’t squander it with the false conviction that you know where you are going or that you really know who you are. No way! You need an outside force and solid information to help you define who you are and where you are going or ought to go.
Nothing is more solid than Divine Revelation. God has spoken.

(27) It Hurts
There are no questions about it. We all suffer!
1)
Sometimes, we suffer because we lied, or committed something wrong, or avoided to take action, and it invades our thoughts day and night. We also suffer sometimes because of self-destroying habits, addictions, etc. Sometimes we hurt because of love and many times because of lack of love...
2) There is also another type of suffering. It has nothing to do with our actions. Think of a loving couple with a 7 year old little girl who was just diagnosed with a cancer that cannot be cured or even treated. It is simply too late. “She has 3 months at the most” said the doctor
.
The usual reaction to sufferings is blaming God. “Why does God permit this?”. Yet, God is the author of good (James 1: 13 to 17). He cannot be anything else. The argument that, since God created all things therefore, God created evil, has no foundation. Evil, in essence, is the absence of the elements of creation. Loneliness is a lack of friendship, blindness is a lack of sight, jealousy is a lack of trust, physical pain is a lack of good health, hate is a lack of love, murder is a lack of respect, trickery is a lack of honesty, etc... God did not create the absence of things. Therefore, God did not create evil or hurt. Just not possible. God is love.
So, why does God allow us to hurt? He doesn’t want us to hurt. In fact, his creation was for the exact opposite. To be perfectly happy. But God did not make us robots. He created us with the capacity of making choices. And in space and time, we chose and often continue to choose the “fracken” way rather than the “right” way... That is called sin. Still, we have hope through sufferings. How so? Two ways we have hope.
- He gave us his Son to pay the ultimate price to allow us into a glorious eternity of bliss and consciousness and that we can rejoice in this fact already in our present life and
- as for the present, he gives us hope and the Person of the Holy Ghost to uplift us and bring us to wonderful serenity. All we need is faith. And he feels our pain... he counts our tears... he measures our hurt. We are not alone.

(25) Faith as small as a grain of mustard
“...and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?"
John 11:26
Hey OK Readers,
Do you sometimes question yourself whether you are a "Christian" or not. Ok. Many people do.
For one thing, you don't read the Bible do you? Don’t be discouraged. We can send you a New Testament for free. Also, remember that since Christ was here, Christians have had access to the "good book" for only 200 years or so (out of 2,000 years). So "reading" the Bible is something that very few believers ever did... in history. Don't feel bad. We should read but you are part of a majority of Christians that read little the Bible.
.
But are you a believer?
Forget that question for a moment.
Let me share a scriptural story.
There was this sick lady who may have had many scares but most definitely had a most severe disease. She was dying. This woman heard about the guy that was attested to be "the" Messiah (the One chosen by God). So said the "gossip" at any rate. She had little time left. She heard that "the guy" was coming to her village. She overheard what time he would be there. "Just follow the crowd."
So, with the little energy she had left, she pulled herself up and started walking toward the apparent miracle worker. "Follow the crowd". That was her last and only hope. Through the density of the horrible herd, she had enough remaining strength to get to her goal. The Man! She had little life left... but she was close. As she was falling from lack of life, blood gusting out of her fragile body, fighting through a thick and ungrateful array of people, she advanced. She had too. It was life or death. She gave it all. Eventually, she was right behind him. She was close. Close enough to touch His cloak. That's all she did. Couldn't do more. Simply touched the cotton on his Frame. Hardly even saw the back of his head.
Read what happened here.
New Testament, Book of Luke Chapter 8
Verses: 40... "Now when Jesus returned, a crowd welcomed him, for they were all expecting him...
... As Jesus was on his way, the crowds almost crushed him. 43 And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. 44 She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped.
45 "Who touched me?" Jesus asked. When they all denied it, Peter said, "Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you."
46 But Jesus said, "Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me."
47 Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed.
48 Then he said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace."
The point is, you need little faith and little knowledge to have peace and Eternal Life.
That is why OkChrist is here. To help you read about scripture.

(24) God is Creator
Welcome to a new year, dear readers. May this new year bring you blessings, health and happiness.
Thank you also to all our friends and supporters.
The following verses simply remind us that God is the Creator.
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him.
Job 33:4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
Psalms 148:5 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.
John 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

(23) When God Became Man
"Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands."(Hebrews 2:7)
We cannot comprehend what it meant for the infinite Creator God to become finite man, even coming "in the likeness of sinful flesh" (Romans 8:3). Nevertheless, we can, and must, believe it, for "every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God" (1 John 4:3).
The Scriptures have given us a glimpse of the "emptying" that His incarnation required--the setting aside of certain outward aspects of His deity. He had been "so much better than the angels" (Hebrews 1:4), but He had to be "made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death" (Hebrews 2:9)--"put to death in the flesh" (1 Peter 3:18).
The eternal Word "was God" (John 1:1), but it was necessary that "the Word was made flesh" (John 1:14). "The world was made by Him" (John 1:10), but "the princes of this world . . . crucified the Lord of glory" (1 Corinthians 2:8).
He, "being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God" (Philippians 2:6). That is, He was not fearful of losing His deity and, therefore, did not have to cling to His divine nature and attributes as He became man. Thus, He "made himself of no reputation" (emptying Himself of the outward form of God), "and took upon him the form of a servant" (Philippians 2:7).
Yet that was only the beginning. "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" (2 Corinthians 5:21). He suffered hell for us, that we might enjoy heaven with Him.
Because He was willing to be so humiliated, He will one day be crowned with glory and honor. "God also hath highly exalted Him, . . . that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord" (Philippians 2:9 - 11).

(22) Our Eternal Bodies
"Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself." (Philippians 3:21)
Only those religions which believe in special creation--that is, orthodox Judaism, Islam, and Christianity--also believe in a bodily resurrection. Of the three creationist/resurrectionist religions, however, only the Christian faith acknowledges that the resurrection can be possible only when the Creator Himself becomes the atoning Savior, dying for sin and thereby defeating death
.
When Christ arose from the tomb, He could proclaim, "I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore" (Revelation 1:18). His resurrection body was the same physical body that had been in the grave, able to be touched and even retaining its crucifixion scars. Nevertheless, it was different, a "spiritual" body (1 Corinthians 15:42-4), controlled by spiritual forces. Our present "natural" bodies are controlled by natural forces, but the resurrected Christ could move quickly from earth to heaven, and could pass through closed doors (John 20:17, 19, 26).
But our resurrection bodies will be like His some day, according to the "working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead" (Ephesians 1:19, 20). By that same "working," He is able to subdue all things, for He is the Creator of all things (Colossians 1:16). Our "vile" bodies will become "glorious" bodies, no longer subject to sickness and aging, or lusts and evil passions. "This corruptible shall have put on incorruption" (1 Corinthians 15:54).
"We know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is" (1 John 3:2). This is the blessed hope of the genuine Christian.

(21) The Resurrection of Christ
Excepts and adaptation from Chris Holmes (Program - It’s a New Day)
The resurrection is fundamental to the faith of Christians. Easter is the most important time of the Christian year. Why? A new history has begun for mankind with the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The resurrection of the Lord marked the beginning of a new age for the entire world.
Also, sin and death “shall be no more”. This Easter is for Christian the holiest day of the year. It’s the beginning of a new story for humanity.
This resurrection also represents a day of victory as well. It is the destruction of sin and death. As Christians, we can now live as victorious people. The victory of God has been accomplished in respect to sin and death. Even though we are still marred by sin and death down here, sin and death is on a leash. The victory has been achieved (past) and we await its consummation (future).
The course of history has decisively changed because of the resurrection Jesus of Nazareth. The resurrection of Christ has cosmic significance for all. The resurrection of this one particular Jewish man means the cause of human history has been changed forever. The world is a different place as a result of it. This may not be evident to the non believers but the fact remains. Sin and death have been defeated by this man. That is “the good news”.
Faith is the posture of open hands – acknowledging that which is true.
Sin’s power is broken. Death’s power is broken. This is a past event. It is done.
We do live with the consequences of sin and death but that is true only for a time. The Christian is in Christ and the Christian will die in Christ. Death is the last enemy but we die in Him who Is life.
Resurrection is not just an idea but Jesus did rise bodily from the death.
His resurrected body is capable to pass through walls. He is not limited to our physical world. “Thus He is, we shall be.”

(20) -7 steps to Eternal Life

- 1. It is impossible to be in the presence of God in a “sinful nature” when you die. It's simply impossible. The very Nature of God cannot partake with Sin. Impossible! His Essence/Being/Nature simply cannot. Impossible!
- 2. God needs to “clean” things up! So He needs to get rid of “sin” somehow. You need to accept that something is wrong "in" and "with" you in your nature as well as everywhere around us in the world. Something is "fudged" up.
- Instead of judging us, God came as a man (Jesus of Nazareth) and he took upon himself the punishment (cleansing) of those who believe in His work on the cross. For a moment, Scripture tells that Jesus “became sin” (2 Cor. 5:21) and was thus judged. (His abandonment on the Cross). So sin is out!
- It is imperative that you simply believe that Jesus took your punishment (sin). God requires FAITH... your heart... (Accessible to all and free to all... no excuse).
- You need a new “relationship” with God. (From "God" to "Father"). All you need to do is admit to God that you are sinful and you need His intervention. Remember, salvation must come from outside of our natural order of things. In other words, it must come from outside the human realm. The solution is vertical (God), not horizontal (Man or Religion).
All men need salvation.
- By faith in the work of Jesus on the cross, you will receive the Holy Spirit in your body, soul and spirit. Henceforth, the Spirit will convince you, guide you in all things and give you enjoyment, power and peace.
- Be baptized. That is the outward demonstration of your stand as a Christian and your proof of obedience as a Believer in Christ. A symbol of the death of the old nature and the resurrection into New Life. Jesus was baptized. (Exclusions apply here. Faith "saves" you, baptism brings you into the Kingdom the moment you are baptized. Eternal Life is not only for tomorrow...).
That is how you receive Eternal Life!
"Christ had no sin, but God made him become sin
so that in Christ we could become right with God."

(19) - The Better Hope

"For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God" (Hebrews 7:19).
Men and women have many false hopes in this world, one of which is that they can earn heaven by good works. Even though God's law is a perfect law, it can never make a person fit for heaven, because no one can keep the law perfectly. There is a better hope, however, and that hope is "the hope of salvation" (I Thessalonians 5:8) "which is Christ in you, the hope of glory" (Colossians 1:27).
This "hope that is in you" (I Peter 3:15) is indeed a wonderful hope. In addition to the one in our text ("better"), there are three other adjectives in the New Testament relative to our Christian hope:
First, it is called a "good hope." "Now our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God, even our Father . . . hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace" (II Thessalonians 2:16).
Next, it is a "blessed hope." "Denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ" (Titus 2:12,13).
Finally, it is a "lively |or living| hope." "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead" (I Peter 1:3).
It is true, of course, that our hope is centered on the eternal future, for "If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable" (I Corinthians 15:19). Nevertheless, the proved resurrection of Christ makes it a good hope, a blessed hope, and a living hope.

(17) - He Gave Himself
Extract
"Who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father" (Galatians 1:4).
There can never be a greater gift than this. Our Lord Jesus Christ not only has given us forgiveness and salvation and all spiritual blessings, He gave Himself! The pure, glorious Son of God gave Himself, substituting Himself in our place to suffer the righteous judgment of God on our sins.
Six times this wonderful affirmation is found in God's Word. The first is in our text, assuring us that, when He gave Himself, He paid the price to deliver us from this present evil world into the eternal world to come. Then, in the next occurrence, this promise is made intensely personal. Christ "loved me, and gave Himself for me" (Galatians 2:20).
The gift Christ gave is more than the world could ever give.

(16) - If you have faith… you have eternal life!
Source: http://www.justtheword.net/id14.html
Mortal means death bound. Our body is mortal, but our spirit and soul are immortal. We need to get a hold of that truth and to live our lives in the light of that fact. We will not perish because we have eternal, everlasting, life. The fear of death is gone.We are like our Father God, we have His immortal life nature.
”It is God who saved us and chose us to live a holy life. He did this not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan long before the world began--to show his love and kindness to us through Christ Jesus. 10 And now he has made all of this plain to us by the coming of Christ Jesus, our Savior, who broke the power of death and showed us the way to everlasting life through the Good News.”
2 Timothy 1:9-10
To us as believers, the death of our body is not the end, but rather a step into a fresh new beginning. Immortal life… that’s something to be thankful for!

In 1980 an ancient tomb was found in Talpiot, a Jerusalem neighborhood. It contained 10 ossuaries (bone boxes) dated roughly to the time of Jesus of Nazareth. One was inscribed "Jesus son of Joseph," two were inscribed with slightly different versions of "Mary," one with a slightly different version of "Joseph," one with "Matthew," and one with "Judah son of Jesus." The Cameron-sponsored Jesus Family Tomb proffers a specious claim based upon bad theory, bad statistics, and bad history.
II. Chemical Evidence?
It is a waste of time to test patinas known to have been from radically different environments than the "James" and Talpiot patinas. In addition, one cannot in a single trial (a) test the validity of a new methodology and (b) apply it. How do we know the method is valid? It is inappropriate to announce results like this to the general public, which lacks the expertise to evaluate the claim, without first having it thoroughly vetted by scholars and experts. i. The Talpiot tomb was discovered in 1980. Just last month, a photograph dated prior to 1980 emerged that clearly shows the "James" ossuary. ii. The earliest tradition regarding James indicates that he was buried near the Temple Mount, some distance from Talpiot.iii. The soil within the "James" ossuary does not correspond to the soil at Talpiot. Rather, it corresponds to an area that is consistent with the original tradition regarding the burial
III. Statistical Evidence?
Virtually everybody named "Jesus son of Joseph" is as good a candidate for this tomb as Jesus. And, for that matter, a strong majority would be a better candidate. For instance, more than 97% of all people named "Jesus son of Joseph" would be expected to have at least two women named Mary among 34 relatives. Can we actually derive a probability that this is Jesus' tomb? We can, if we consider the tomb in light of the historical record. It is relevant on two points.First, it seems highly unlikely that Jesus would be a candidate for burial in this tomb. This is the case for at least six reasons.
i. Few scholars - including those who think Jesus was not bodily resurrected - believe that he was buried at all. There is good reason for this. The earliest testimony indicates that the tomb was empty. Later testimony is consistent with this. This testimony further indicates that all parties - the Romans, the Jewish temple authority, the Christians - agreed that the body had gone missing.
ii. Even if we assume that Jesus was buried, it is exceedingly unlikely that he would be buried in or around Jerusalem. Everybody had an interest in finding his body. It would have been a prize "get" for early Christian opponents - who were of course centered in Jerusalem - to produce it. How did they miss it when it was so close by? One would expect the Jesus family tomb, if it did exist, to be either in the north (the family's first century A.D. home), or in the south (the family's ancestral home).
iii. This pictureof the exterior of the tomb shows that it is ornately decorated. This tomb is not secretive. It is not possible to bury a person outside, but the Jesus in this tomb comes close. Again - how could Jesus, the production of whose body would have saved certain authorities many headaches, not have been unearthed from this tomb prior to 1980?
iv. The ossuary in question is unadorned. It bears only chicken-scratch writing that simply says, "Jesus son of Joseph." Most scholars consider Jesus minimally to have been a teacher, probably a healer, with a devoted following. Would his followers have treated him so shabbily in his internment, considering how much care was taken to anoint the body? Meanwhile, other ossuaries found at Talpiot are well-adorned, with names not so carelessly scratched into decorated ossuaries.
v. The name on the ossuary, "Jesus son of Joseph," was not how followers addressed Jesus. As a matter of fact, this is what Jesus' opponents called him. Thus, I would assign a 1 in 1.4 million chance that this tomb belonged to Jesus. These odds are a little better than the odds that I will die in a tractor accident this year.
IV. Conclusion
Scientific method demands a careful, systematic weighing of all the evidence, for and against. The documentarians have not done this. This is how a freak accident becomes a sure thing. What they offer here is not science, but pseudo-science -- polemic dressed in scientific language. The game was rigged from the start.

(14) - We the "excellent"... His delight.
“To the saints that are on the earth, and to the excellent [thou hast said], In them is all my delight.”
Psalm 16:3
This is a most striking verse. It simply says that the believers of Christ the Son who are “on the earth” are considered, by God, in Heaven, as “the excellent”. In the New Testament, a “Saint” is “a believer”.
Just stop and ponder on that for a moment. (That is sort of an A+ if you are a Christian. His “Delight”).

(13) - Stop being afraid
I often wondered what Jesus Christ said the most often when he was on earth. This is a worthy question. Indeed, what did he repeat the most often? After some research, I was most surprised ! Since this "discovery", I often ask others to guess the answer to what Christ repeated the most often when He was on earth and everyone gives me a very similar response: "Love one another" or "Love your neighbor"...
Well, not even close. What Christ repeated the most often was: "do not fear..." or in modern terms: "stop being afraid...". This is most revealing and worth sharing. Indeed, what God repeated the most often when in a human body on earth was to encourage us to be free, to act boldly in life and simply to stop being afraid. This applies to everything in life...
Nothing is more liberating... and nothing contrasts Christ more with any Religion or Belief Systems. Indeed, He was God from heaven and everything else comes from earth (man). If you want to know more about the Son of God and His liberating Message and awesome Power, read about:
