Who is God?

Allow us to tell you a bit about who God is according to the Bible or more specifically, allow me to share with you a bit of their differences or distinctions.

The Father has the thought, the idea… the purpose;
The Son does the deed. He makes it happen.
The Spirit is the Power, the Life, the Energy behind it all.

The 3 of them are God. It is said 3 things about who God is:

God is Love
God is Light
God is Spirit

Father:

Think “space and time”. Think way back… way way back.

Just imagine the Father being… with his Son… in the distant past…

We don’t really know what happened then, simply because the Bible only talks of the time zone within the history of mankind. The Bible doesn’t talk, ever, about past time, and future time (with the exception of 13 verses in the entire Bible).

The Bible talks about a period of time, relatively short, in “our time and space”. Our story. The humans.

Sorry… getting away from the subject. The Father, at one point, calls for Life… shared Life. He wants to create…

That’s where you come in.

Son:

As stated earlier, God is Life, Light and Sprit. In order to reach us, God had to take on the form of a man… had to become a man. That is where the Son comes in. He came as a simple Jew that walked in Jerusalem. That’s all we have. And frankly, on a scientific base, we have little. Our only serious basis of “proof” of this is the New Testament. A very old collection of 27 books that relate that moment in time and space where God visited earth. And the Son had one single purpose… to accomplish the will of the Father. Something was fudged up in creation, in humans… and the Son came to correct this wrong. Something is wrong and God wants to make it right. The Son made that happen. By dying on the cross, he took upon himself the curse and judgement of that fudged up state. In essence, he cleaned it out from the view of the Father. Thus, all those who have faith in the Son are seen, in a position of perfection, before the Father.

Many reject the Son of God… but if you compare (contrast) his philosophies, his influence, his message with any other Founder of any other belief system, you will probably agree that the Principles of Christ remain the strongest elements of our Western Democratic Society and the ones we prefer to chose over any others.

Spirit:

Life is essential for energy.

The Spirit is the Power in the Godhead. That means He is in control from beginning to end. This "3rd" Person is the One on the Earth currently. Can’t see Him… He is a “Spirit” but He is also the one having an influence in our lives... on a daily basis… He (It) convinces us of many things and directs our attention to the work of the Son. He always finds a way.
